We first saw this teether at a small baby clothing boutique and loved it for its simplicity and sweetness. Our son then got a chance to play with one at a baby yoga class, and did not want to let it go.
Sophie La Girafe is hand made in the French Alps from natural rubber and is safe for teething babies to chew on. She even makes a little squeaking noise when squeezed. Sophie has been around for 40 years and measures 7" tall.
Sophie runs around $20+ at boutiques and places like Amazon and Land of Nod. We spotted it on sale for $17 at a little place called Cotton Babies. Not a huge savings, but a great toy (and gift) so we had to mention it.
